General

So, splat-wise, I feel there's probably:

  • ~180 Solars. MANY Solars refused to retreat, and dozens who unfortunately caught or killed before the Gunstar was able to leave.
    • Narikon is by far the oldest of these, but there are a few in the upper ranks that are powerful. Otherwise, they largely don't pass Essence 6 as they inevitably get themselves involve with some kind of dangers, MANY of which are not Titanics.
  • ~270 Lunars. Most Lunars boarded the Gunstar, but around twenty stayed behind to fight alongside the Solars who stayed behind or to defend the Gunstar, which Luna allowed because well it is their nature. Around ten more possible could have boarded Gnosis following the wounded Luna.
    • Much like the Solars, though probably a heavier rotation - they're more often newly Exalted than Solars, because they usually join the Void Hunt which can be extremely deadly for the inexperienced. At the same time, they have a number of leaders who are very powerful because of their position and are in their position because of their power.
  • All 100 Sidereals. They were rarely in the frontlines, and the Maidens absolutely forbade any from staying and fighting, forcibly if necessary.
    • In general, Sidereals end up fairly high in Essence but bureaucratic. At the same time, any loss is a major one due to how their shards work, so that's another reason.
  • Around a thousand Alchemicals.
    • Around fifty cities (so that's about six cities per nation!), probably 150 Colossi or so (who largely work with the Void Hunt, Defense Line, or Deliberative Army depending on their specs), and then the rest are Essence 5 or lower by choice or age, sticking around the cities to help humanity.
  • Thousands if not tens or hundreds of thousand of Dragon-Blooded.
    • Really, we should probably figure out the amount of Dragon-Blooded per nation to get a feel for any customs. Kamak probably has a disproportionate amount for defense, for example, and like Alchemicals might be treated very casually instead of with militaristic respect.
  • An indeterminate amount of Titanics.
    • The number doesn't really matter, just the number on the Gunstar. There's a few question here: Why aren't there higher Essence ones about (not that Essence 6/7 are anything to sneeze at)? One answer is Cemunian and the Abyssals back home, which is acceptable. BUT WHAT IF THE PRIMORDIAL FEEL LIKE HIGH ESSENCE TITANICS ARE TOO SIMILAR TO THE SOLARS SO THEY INTENTIONALLY SEND THEM TO THEIR DEATHS??? (no probably not it was something i thought but i think stupid things sometimes spoiler)
  • No more than 20 Abyssals.
    • Again, these guys are scary, scary things, and I don't want to undermine it by making them common.
  • A shit ton of mortals.
  • Liminals???

The Gunstar Council

At the Start

  • Narikon sits at the head of the council, essentially running every major choice, if only due to having the majority of the board play to his whims.
    • Probably is advised by Tachi-Kun.
  • Sorin is the second most senior, replacing the Magnus when he was imprisoned what like two thousand years ago? But after quickly getting a shit job due to going against the majority in the past, he largely just votes as Narikon does.
    • Probably the Golden Lord for Solar disputes. Also feel like he hangs out with Han-Tha in free time for some reason.
  • Chejop Kejak is the only Sidereal on the board, installed on a big shake-up probably no more than 500 years and no less than 200 years ago (so they haven't been on FOREVER but still long enough to have power and be accepted as the norm nowadays). We might have to actually figure out what happened, maybe the Unconquered Sun cut some down? Is he able to do that? If not, they died saving mortals! Anyway. Narikon's best bro, votes as he does 95+% of the time.
    • Uh...
  • Lilith was also placed on the board at this time, largely to appease unrest among the Lunars. She's capable and experienced, but ambitious beyond her station and unsurprisingly is often the only dissenting vote in matters.
    • PROBABLY Grala, though that might be Behemoth. Or another god entirely, who knows.
  • And finally Behemoth was chosen largely to ensure there was a Lunar vote that went his way so that they wouldn't realize so easily how he was manipulating the board. Behemoth agrees to anything that involves punching.
    • Hu Dai Liang is his advising god!

As the Games Goes On

  • Ayesha Ura is likely placed quickly in Chejop, with Narikon trying to keep stability and not reviewing the case enough. This likely deadlocks the council when Behemoth dies.
  • The Roseblack or Mnemon likely take Behemoth's place when he dies (OR JOINT SEAT), depending on the party's actions. Nothing can go wrong.

The Factions

  • Mnemon probably, others I'm too lazy to get into

Brass Faction

Unaffiliated

Undecided by us

  • Raksi is a major one to me. I can't decide if she'd actually take a side, or just deliberately use the chaos to delve into ethical gray areas while no one's looking. I lean towards the latter, but I haven't fully rolled around the former yet so we'll see.
  • Possibly devas, especially if one group promises them less scrutiny than the other.

Antagonists

Abyssals

Death in bloom.

Cemunian

LOOK AT WHAT I DID ISN'T IT SO PRETTY

The Guild

This section might get generalized to 'internal threats' to include things like the hungry ghosts in the Tripartite. Also as an aside ultimately I feel I wrote Marilna too genre savvy to actually threaten the party directly, instead trying subtle manipulation to play them against her enemies. They're naive and enthusiastic enough after all, and if they fail well it doesn't hurt her assets at all.

Because they don't have to invade this page. No stop don't edit anything in heZirak Zirak Zirak also Faredun and Murdocre I hate you.

Voidbringers

Alchemicals (placeholder names)

  • Vitriolic Purifier of Mankind is a leader, savior, and diplomat. He's capable of seducing and coercing forces to the Void that would normally never consider it, and innovating new technologies and strategies to reach new heights in their attacks.
  • Inexorable Cleaver of Flesh and Bone just wants to axe questions. A passable field commander and terrifying duelist, she's routinely evaded Void Hunts attempt to pin her down and is one of the major pawns in Vitriolic's schemes. She enjoys the success of the attacks, but she's not a huge fan of sparing so many and disagrees with Vitriolic's overarching goal.
  • Disharmonious Piercing Optics follows Vitriolic out of fear of death. She(? goddamn Hawkeye) hates opposing the Deliberative in any way, but she's too afraid of death and so fights to ensure her survival. And quite well at a distance.
  • Perfected Calculus was the boyfriend of Theophant Wotch or whoever, until his jig of poisoning entire blocks of a city revealed his crimes. Taking up the mantle Methodical Luminary, he works as a shadow weaving into cities and performing art through assassinations. Because it's murder by numbers, 1, 2, 3.
  • Possibly a pure puncher? Corrupt Monk of some kind? Who knows, who cares. Just saying. Also a Samus??? Nah that's fine.

Forbidden Gods

  • Amoth City-Smiter helps direct the gremlins in attacks on towns in the Reaches, as well as trying to pinpoint the weaknesses of the Alchemical cities. One of the few Voidbringers whose goals coincide with sparing the living, as he wants all people living in his ruins, so.
  • That god that eats the dead.
  • Possibly one or two major ones, though I think concerns on Grala and Han-Tha could pass instead.

Mortals

  • ???

The Wyld

Major

  • The Thing in the Mountain is an ishvara stored deep inside Autochthon's belly, in a simulation of Creation (and/or the Spiral). What it wants to do anyone can say.
  • Are...are there even canon Fair Folk to modify (that aren't mooks)? I feel like that's a major hole in being able to sell the splat. There's Unshaped mentioned in the Fair Folk book, but I couldn't find any specific ones. Let me know if there's any that hold interest to you, that's how I've really been having fun integrating various into this.

Other Involved

  • Aetamos, Second Circle Soul of Erembour, communicates with the raksha often, establishing deals to terraform the Wyldstorms with little resistance. But it's clear these interactions are changing him, and who knows how that'll end.
  • Nara-O knows something is going down involving Wyldstorms, and he wants to know what. So he send his subordinate Xaos, God of Things Undiscovered, to investigate. What could go wrong?
  • The Roshtonari are worshipers of what are eventually revealed to be the Unshaped, some of who have probably made stories of being gods (benevolent or angry, depending on the type) to them. An interesting angle for them to explore is that they were originally not clouds but became such to mimic the image of their gods, especially if Gunstar mortals they convert also convert in such a way.

Future sections

More groups as I think, I MAINLY made this for the factions though. Might detail some elemental courts on here/somewhere sometime, but ugh those aren't as shiny. SHINIER THAN APOSTATES THOUGH (As of this edit I'm having trouble thinking of another major section but we'll see)
