Description
A rather plain woman in her twenties, she has an artificial limb and an orichalcum half-mask with a glot for an eye to cover damage from an industrial accident at a young age. Among her syndicate, she is confident and ruthless. If she is forced to interact with someone outside of it, especially someone investigating it, she often plays her handicaps to disarm expectations. She is a fairly capable fighter with her artificial limb, and has stopped at least two assassination attempts.
Role
Main
- Marilna controls much of Claslat through her activities, little can happen without her approval at this point. She's trying to manipulate National Tripartite members in every nation to introduce the glot as a currency for Autochthonia, so the glass market might expand.
Other Activities
- She's totally got a pet Alchemical and Sidereal on her side???
Relationships
General
- She's got a lot of Claslat under her thumb through her abilities. Most people know that if they try to remove her, Claslat would probably collapse with all the people she'd reveal as corrupt.
Specific
- Murdoc - This guy routinely wins incredible sums of her wealth, only to shortly lose it all again. In addition, the two are on-again off-again lovers - he seems to be too irresponsible to stay in a committed relationship, which is fine, she's willing to entertain him any time it's clear he's not suffering any maladies from the Pale Lady.
- Pramoda - This woman is has risen up in the same time frame, but she has done nothing as elaborate as her. She rose up through drug trade, likely somewhere in the city she hides a beast of resplendent liquid from Hadal. Since then, she has quickly established a network based on secrets just as well as Marilna. The two are rivals of sorts. (But they've likely come together under the Guild, possibly an idea by one or the other?)
- The Party - Ugh, heroes. After initial impression, she's likely to use a light touch to get them to do what she wants. She's got information, and she knows that's more valuable to them than anything, so she'll try her hardest to let them pass without shaking up her organization too badly.
