Original Pitch

We were thinking of having two Sovereign's on the Gunstar and have them at odds with each other. One would represent Ruvelia, and the other would be Ligier. Faredun is the Ligier, so he is without mercy, is a master craftsman, and is extremely dangerous in the 'I am manipulating things' vein. He's second in command on the field, possibly resents Roshan and Above All Others. I think the last part of the original pitch was 'oh fuck he's Vicious from Bebop.'

Abilities: Focused on Infernal Monster Style (Grieving Titan Style?), the Green Sun Nimbus Flare tree, and specializes in Isidoros charms in addition to his Theion and Martial Arts.

Expansion

I forgot one thing in designing the Titanics I was most interested in, and that is that they think they're doing good, which is a doozy to forget. I also forgot that Gunstar Duty is basically a death sentence, so Faredun combines those two. He's hoping to change the Gunstar with the strength of his own conviction, not merely wage war. These people are merely misguided, and he can show them a better way.

He foils (in the narrative sense) Roshan in that I imagine Roshan is a little more inhuman. Faredun is vicious and believes he should be in charge of EVERYTHING, but still understandable. He thinks they're wrong, but he's going to help fix that (with punching). While Roshan is essentially more of Theion's wrath, his kingly fires, etc.

Feel free to suggest otherwise, we'll fight to the death and I'll break your hand.

Relationships

The Main Circle

  • Roshan-Respects his power, but thinks his philosophies are flawed. Faredun is willing to die for his beliefs, but not for a war that he doesn't necessarily believe in.
  • Densha-Treats her like dirt for following like a sheep, and she has no other choice.
  • Zirak-Despises, but needs, because he's going to be the only one willing to slightly undermine Roshan with him. Surely nothing will go wrong.
  • Emet-TOO much of a wildcard for his taste. Dogs that don't know their place need to be brought to heel, or put down.
  • Ashna-He knows that she is only wrath for him, but he likes that in a woman. He's afraid of bringing up his plans for subverting Roshan, for fear of breaking her. But once Roshan is gone, she will be all his. Forever.
  • (The Kimberry)-Fuck her, fuck her misguided spite for everything. Also, she was Roshan's lover for long enough he knows that he still has feelings for her. May just kill her himself if the party can't.

Others

  • Above All Others-Useful in that he's a master strategist and is respected because he's more powerful than the entire rest of the circle.
  • Rasha-See Emet.
  • Simin and Surin-See Rasha.
