Chejop is an old man, and has been for centuries. But his frail appearance has increased over the past hundred years, and all are aware he's approaching the end of his life.

*Since the beginning of the Gunstar, Chejop has shaped everything toward the Gunstar returning to the Spiral. For millenia, he has been in charge of pretty much every aspect of Sidereal activities.
*But as his age started to become apparent, he began calcifying plans to continue his goals after his death, working with Mars, Saber, and Hu Dai Liang, as well as the Sidereals. Ironically, this overt movement caused several Sidereals to react in a way he did not expect, forming a counter-faction to change the ultimate goal of the Gunstar. In his effort to keep things stable after he died, he has irrevocably split the Deliberative into factions.
*His frustration is visible, as it becomes difficult to even maintain the usual Sidereal actions with factions subtly sabotaging each others' projects and careers.

*[[Narikon]] - Forceful commander who will take the Gunstar back to the Spiral, as it should be. Thankfully, he has ways to increase his lifespan. Chejop doesn't fear his or Narikon's death, of course, he fears the chaos that will follow it.
